Immigration Requirements
Passport and Visa Information
Singapore is widely regarded for its ease of entry, efficient immigration processes, and strong international connectivity.
Many nationalities enjoy visa-free entry for short-term visits to Singapore. For those who require a visa, applications are typically processed within 3-5 working days, subject to approval.
A Singapore visa is not an immigration pass. It is a pre-entry permission that allows the holder to travel to Singapore and seek entry at the point of arrival.
The grant of an immigration pass will be determined by officers from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) at the point of entry. The duration of stay granted will be indicated on the visit pass issued upon arrival and is independent of the validity of the visa.
